Help guides
Every persona ships a built-in help skill. How to reach it, and what it covers.
Every RolePlugin persona ships a built-in help guide as one of its skills. It explains what the persona covers, walks through its capabilities, and orients you if you are not sure where to start. It never does the persona's actual work itself, that is left to the capability the request is really about.
Reaching it
Two ways work:
- Ask in plain language. Questions like "how do I use this", "what can you help me with", or "I'm new, where do I start" trigger the help guide the same way any other request activates a skill (see Auto-activation).
- Use the persona's dedicated command. Each available persona has its own short help command, listed
below. It follows the same
/<persona-slug>:<skill-name>pattern as every other capability's slash command.
| Persona | Help command |
|---|---|
| Business Analyst | /business-analyst:help-ba |
| Product Manager | /product-manager:help-pm |
| Technical Writer | /technical-writer:help-tw |
| QA / Test Engineer | /qa-test-engineer:help-qa |
| Solutions Architect | /solutions-architect:help-sa |
| Data Analyst | /data-analyst:help-da |
| UX Researcher | /ux-researcher:help-ux |
| Financial Analyst (FP&A) | /financial-analyst:help-fa |
| Contract / Legal Reviewer | /contract-legal-reviewer:help-clr |
| GRC / Compliance Analyst | /grc-compliance-analyst:help-grc |
With or without a question
Run the command on its own to get a menu of what you can ask that persona. Add a question after it, for example asking how to write a BRD, and it answers directly instead of showing the menu.
Personas still in development (marked Coming soon in the persona library) will ship their own help command in the same pattern once released.
